What is Bundtastic Rewards?
Bundtastic Rewards is our free loyalty program available in the Nothing Bundt Cakes app where you earn points toward rewards, such as free and discounted cake or other rewards. Members get 10 points for every $1 spent on cake and retail purchases, gift cards and delivery. Members also get a free individual Bundtlet on their birthday, as well as benefits such as Member Happy Hours and Member Appreciation Days.
Do you have an app?
Yes! The app is available for download at the Apple App store and Google Play store. You can place orders for pick-up or delivery via the app and sign-up for Bundtastic Rewards, our loyalty program.
How do I sign up for Bundtastic Rewards?
Download the free Nothing Bundt Cakes app from the Apple App Store or Google Play store. Upon launching the app, you’ll be prompted to create an account. Once you create your account, you will have the option to add a credit card. This allows you to automatically earn points for all app and in-bakery purchases whenever your saved card is used. You can also upload receipts manually to earn points, but you will need to have a loyalty account created in the app so your points have somewhere to go.
How do I earn points?
Members earn points for all cake purchases, retail purchases, gift card purchases, and delivery orders, exclusive of taxes or fees, when ordered through the app or through the website if they have a registered credit card on file. Members who elect not to include a credit card in their profile can still get points. They need to select "Upload Receipts" from the navigation in the app and upload their receipt manually. Purchases made with a gift card are not eligible to earn points.
Do my points expire?
Your points will expire 12 months after your last qualifying purchase. In other words, to keep your points active, you will need to make at least one qualifying purchase in the following 12 months.
If my order is cancelled, what happens to my points that were earned?
If your order is cancelled or refunded by Nothing Bundt Cakes for any reason, any points earned will remain in your account.
Can I save multiple credit cards to earn points?
Yes! Any card you have registered to your account will earn points at participating locations. You can register as many cards as you like. At this time, you can earn points with Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Some cards may not accrue points because the card companies sometimes don't send us notifications for pre-paid cards, Apple Cards, cards issued outside the US, etc. If that happens, you can upload the receipt manually.
What if I don’t want to save my credit card? Can I still earn points?
If you don’t want to save your credit card, you can still collect points manually by uploading your in-bakery receipts. Select Upload Receipts from the menu navigation in the app. Look for that stack of 3 little lines in the upper left-hand corner of your screen. Once your receipt is uploaded and verified, your points will automatically be loaded into your account. This may take up to 24 hours.
How do I upload a receipt?
For Android
From the rewards page in the app, click on Send Photo Of Receipt. Then, attach a photo, fill out the amount, date, and payment type, and hit Submit Receipt.
For Apple iOS
From the rewards page in the app, click the More tab, then Send Photo of Receipt. Then, attach a photo, fill out the amount, date, and payment type, and hit Submit Receipt.
Take a photo of your receipt to attach it. Ensure that it's legible, so our team can read it. Your receipt will clearly need to show the location address, date, amount, and method of payment.
Select the proper payment type. Provide the last 4 digits of your linked credit card, cash, other card.
We attempt to review receipts within 24 hours, but sometimes we’re busy baking. Depending on the volume, it may take as long as 72 hours to approve your receipt. Holidays can also affect this turnaround time.
Note: If you click the Upload Photo button and nothing happens, go to your phone settings to check that you have permissions set to access photos from your phone turned on. With Apple iOS, this appears as Read and Write.
Why was my receipt denied?
Our team needs to verify your payment type, which can help us identify why your credit didn't show up automatically. Additionally, make sure the date, amount of purchase, and bakery location are included on the receipt. At this time, purchases made with a Nothing Bundt Cakes gift card do not earn points. However, you do earn points when you purchase a gift card. (to avoid double points being earned by the purchaser and the gift card receiver).
Be sure you select the proper payment type by entering the credit card you paid with, or cash. If you paid with an Apple Card, store credit, or a card not linked to your account, select Other for the payment method. Remember that paying with a Nothing Bundt Cakes gift card does not earn points.
If you enroll a card and immediately make a purchase with it (or enroll it immediately after making one), then we may not receive a real-time notification from Visa/MasterCard/Amex. In these cases, the credit may still arrive after a few days. In such cases, we may not review your receipt until after this period has expired.
Submit one receipt at a time. The system cannot accept multiple receipts in one submission.
How do I redeem my points towards rewards?
Once you’ve accumulated enough points, you can redeem rewards through the Nothing Bundt Cakes app during the checkout process. First, add the item associated with the reward you’d like to redeem to your cart. Next, once item is added, go to cart where rewards will appear at the top. If you have multiple rewards, you can swipe left and right in the cart to view them. Select Apply Reward toggle on the reward you would like to redeem. Reward will apply and continue with the checkout process. Make sure that you already have your desired items in your cart before you redeem or are in/near a bakery during open hours.
Do rewards expire?
Rewards will remain available in your account until actually redeemed on an order. The birthday reward of a free Individual Bundtlet is valid +/- 7 days from your birthday at any Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakery. However, rewards are subject to change or may only be available for a limited time.
Can I use multiple rewards within a single order?
One reward redemption per order at this time.
How can I change my birthday?
If you would like to update your birthday, start at Account on the app. You can change your birth date, but you will only receive one birthday reward within a calendar year.
Can I change my preferred bakery?
Choose wisely. Once you set your preferred bakery during the account creation process, you will not be able to change it later.
If my order is cancelled, what happens to any points that may have been redeemed towards a reward?
You will need to submit a ticket to reinstate your points in the app. Start at the Support tab, explain what happened, and ask to have your points reinstated.
How far back before I sign up can I earn credit for my purchases?
You can upload receipts 2 weeks prior to signing up..
How do I change my linked credit card?
You can remove any of your linked credit cards by visiting your account, selecting Registered Credit/Debit Cards, clicking Edit, and deleting any cards you prefer.
How do I change my phone number?
In the app, look at the top middle of the page where you see the selected location. This will bring you to the Preferences page. Next, scroll down to the bottom where it says Phone, enter or change the contact phone number you want to be associated with your next online order and then click Update Order.
How do I add or delete credit cards in the app?
To add or delete a card, start at the top left Menu, choose Account, select Registered Credit/Debit Cards, click Edit, and add or delete the cards you prefer.
What if I have a saved card linked to another loyalty program?
If you have a card linked to another loyalty program within the Thanx network, after entering your email and verification with the magic link from Thanx, you can view any previously saved cards. But to use the saved card for a purchase, you will need to re-enter the 3-digit CVV.
Why can’t I add a credit card in the app?
When you enroll a card within the app, we send the card number directly from your phone to the Visa, Mastercard or Amex card network, and they enroll it. They notify us that your card was enrolled, but they don't send us the card number itself—not to worry. When you attempt to add a card, it's possible that the card network will reject it, and the messaging returned as to why can be somewhat vague for security purposes.
Here are some reasons that may result in your card being rejected:
- Your card is already enrolled. This often happens when two people share a card. It also often happens when you already have an existing account. If you suspect you may have two accounts, reach out to our support team so we can assist you.
- Your card has expired. If your enrolled card has expired and you try to enroll a new card with the same card number, your new card will be rejected. Once you remove your expired card from your account, you will be able to enroll your new card.
- Your card is not supported. Some Visa, Mastercard, and Amex cards may be rejected if they are pre-paid cards, corporate cards, or issued outside the US, and Discover Card purchases do not earn points. If you use a card that you are unable to enroll with your account, please submit your receipts through the app. We do not currently support Apple Pay or Google Pay in the app, but we do on our website if you order there. Additionally, you can also pay with Apple Pay in bakery.
